Adding a User to Your Amazon Brand Registry Account

In this article, our Amazon team provides a step-by-step process for adding users to your Amazon Brand Registry account. 

What Is Amazon Brand Registry?

Before diving into how you can provide other users with access to your account, it’s important to understand how valuable this platform can be to your organization. Amazon Brand Registry is a program designed to give brand owners increased control of their products on Amazon. To be eligible, your organization must have a registered trademark.

The program’s biggest benefit for manufacturers is the direct influence they have on their detail pages. Plus, by adding more users to your Amazon Brand Registry account, you can ensure your business’s most pertinent details are up to date.

Adding Users to Amazon Brand Registry: Step by Step

  1. Go to https://brandregistry.amazon.com/
  2. Log in with your Brand Registry username and password
  3. In the upper right corner, click “Help”
  4. Under the Enrollment and Setup section, click  “Brand Registry Roles”
  5. Scroll down, and click  “Contact Us”
  6. On the left, expand the section “Update your brand profile”
    1. Click “Update role or add new user to account”
  7. Fill out the form that should appear on the right
  8. Fill in the following fields as noted
    1. Contact reason
      1. Leave filled in as is
    2. Please describe your issue
      1. “Add”
    3. Which would you like to do: Add, Update, or Remove a Brand Registry user account?
      1. “Add”
    4. Enter the Email Address of the Mercatus&M user account:
      1. For Mercatus&M clients use: mercatus.m3@gmail.com
    5. Enter the brand(s) this pertains to:
      1. Please enter the brand exactly as you registered it, matching UPPER and lowercase letters
    6. Enter the role(s) you’d like the user account to have (Administrator, Rights Owner, Registered Agent) – We will need both the “Administrator” and “Registered Agent” Role
  9. “Provide a reason for inviting this user to the brand?” – “Answer: USER is a Service Provider”
  10. The contact method section should already be filled out your email address
  11. Click “Send”

It will take approximately 24 hours to get the new Registered Agent email address updated in Amazon’s system and a confirmation will be sent and viewable in the Brand Registry case log.
